Q: How much homework is typically assigned?

A: The amount of homework assigned is dependent on the student’s needs and goals.

Q: What kind of textbooks are used by SLK?

A: The textbooks used are determined by the student’s level; the teacher will assess the student’s academic level accordingly, and provide them with the proper texts.

Q:Can I choose the lesson’s schedule?

A: Yes, we can make arrangements that will best accommodate the student and teacher’s schedules.

Q: If I want to cancel a lesson, can I reschedule for a make-up lesson?

A: Yes, as long as cancellations are made within 24 hours of the student’s scheduled lesson, a student will not be charged for that day’s lesson. A make-up lesson should be scheduled at the earliest convenient time, but students are allowed up to three months to make up the cancelled lesson.

Q:Are lesson fees monthly payments?

A: Private and Semi-Private Lessons are monthly fees, but the Power classes and Reading & Writing classes should be paid in full at the start of each new session.
